If you reschedule your lesson with less than 48 hours notice to your FDS instructor then you will be liable to pay the lesson fee again for it to be rebooked. If you need to reschedule your lesson(s) under extreme circumstances or an emergency within the 48 hours notice period, then please speak to your instructor regarding this matter and depending upon these circumstances, will determine whether you will be liable to pay for it to be rescheduled or not. This is at the FDS instructors discretion.

-If you need to cancel a lesson, meaning you wish to not reschedule it, then you will need to inform your FDS instructor. A refund will only be given if no less than 72 hours notice is given. If you cancel with more than 72 hours notice, then you will receive a refund of 75% of the total lesson cost. Please see the sub-section ‘Refund Policy’ for how you start the process of receiving this.

-If in the event in which you reschedule 3 times in a row then you will be liable to pay the tuition fee again for it to be rebooked.

-If in the event in which your FDS instructor has to reschedule a lesson for any reason such as; instructor illness or emergency, mechanical breakdown or issues, another student's practical test coming up on that date, short-term car issues (nail in tyre, puncture, cracked windscreen etc), unexpected road conditions or traffic, then your FDS instructor will contact you with as much notice as possible to inform you of the issue and organise rescheduling it to the nearest available time. There will be no extra charge to you in these circumstances.

-If in the event in which your FDS Instructors car has any issues, or is taken off the road for a longer period of time for any reason, then we always seek to have a replacement vehicle as soon as possible. However in some cases this may take longer than expected, in which we/your FDS instructor will keep you informed and updated throughout this time.

Practical Driving Test Conditions and Policy-

- We are within our right to withdraw any of our automatic and/or manual cars in the event that your FDS driving instructor does not feel you are ready for your test. Usually this will always have a notice period of at least 12 working days, to allow for the test to be changed to a later date without losing the test fee. If in the event your FDS driving instructor has to make this decision within the 10 day notice period of your driving test date, we will rebook another test at no extra charge to you. All tuition hours that have been booked and paid for at this time will be either carried out as planned, rescheduled or they will be given to you in credit to use at a later date, depending on what you and your FDS driving instructor decide. However, if you do not want another test booked in replacement and it is within the 10 day notice period,  then you will receive a refund of £62. Please see the sub-section ‘Refund Policy’ for how you start the process of receiving this.

- In the event the FDS driving instructor's car; is not road worthy, does not meet the driving test standards for any reason, unexpected mechanical issues and/or breakdowns, then we will rebook another test at no extra charge to you. If the DVSA Examiner refuses to take the car out on test, as they deem it to be not road worthy for any reason, then we will rebook another test at no extra charge to you. If in this instance, you do not want another test booked in replacement then you will receive a refund of £62. If the DVSA Examiner refuses to take the test out due to something you have done, such as;  failing to bring your licence to test, failing to follow the rules the DVSA have in place (these can be found on the official government website), then you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind from us.

- In the event in which your FDS driving instructor is ill or has an emergency at short notice for your test, we will try and arrange for you to be taken to the test by one of our other instructors. However, this cannot be guaranteed and in this circumstance we will rebook another test at no extra charge to you. If in this instance, you do not want another test booked in replacement then you will receive a refund of £62.

- In the event that you damage the FDS car during your driving test and you are at fault, then if the total repair cost is less than the instructor's insurance excess, you will be required to pay for the damages to the car.
